Introduction

h:dataTable is one of the standard components. Why RichFaces library contains dataTable component if the standard one exist? What benefits this component provides? What features it has that are missing in h:dataTable? The goal of this article is to address such questions and show the flexibility of the key component of RichFaces component library.
